Bergs Potter has been making pots that your plants love since 1942. Our planters are designed in Denmark and lovingly handmade from high-quality Italian clay in small, family-run workshops in northern Italy. The clay is fired at very high temperatures, which gives the pots a natural strength. A special surface treatment of the saucers ensures that they are completely waterproof, making our pots suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The high density of the clay ensures that the pots are frost-resistant, retain moisture and allow air to reach the roots, giving your plants the best possible conditions to grow and thrive.

Bergs Potter was founded during one of the darkest times of the Second World War and was born out of a desire to revitalise and enrich the lives of Copenhageners. Today - eighty years later - we have expanded worldwide and are still dedicated to the life-affirming colours that are expressed in our beautiful glazed collections. Not only that, we still glaze our pots the old-fashioned way: individually and by hand to achieve unrivalled durability and full depth of colour. Our solid and sumptuous glazes enhance the richness and vibrancy of our colours and give our distinctive pots and vases, which are destined to last for generations, a character all of their own.
