Description
The København pot (Copenhagen pot) has a royal heritage and is one of the first pots designed by Bergs Potter. This fine pot is inspired by the pottery that was made in the royal Danish castle of Fredensborg in 1860.
Years ago, Steffen Berg came across beautiful old clay pots in a former nursery and created the Købehavner pot, his very own interpretation of pottery with royal origins. Today, the København pot is one of our most popular designs and our potters still make it by hand in a small village near Lucca in Tuscany.
The heritage of the København pot adds a touch of regal elegance to even the humblest plant.
The Københavner Pot range includes numerous sizes in the colours pink and Nordic grey terracotta, including three tall rose pots that take into account the deep roots and space requirements of rose plants. The Copenhagen pot is also available in a hand-glazed version, which comes in a variety of different shades - all inspired by the colours of classic Copenhagen. The delivery includes the plant pot and saucer.
